It is with profound sorrow that the Management and Support staff of Nelson's Funeral Home, LLC announce the death of Ms. Andrea Teresa Harrison,45, of Ridgeway, South Carolina.

Ms. Harrison departed this earthly life Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Palmetto Richland Hospital Columbia, South Carolina.  

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 22, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at Fairfield Central  High School Auditorium 321 Bypass Winnssboro, South Carolina.

Interment will follow in White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery#1, 520 White Oak Church Road, Winnsboro, South Carolina.

Public viewing will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015 beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home,  270 N. Dogwood Ave., Ridgeway, South Carolina.

By the Spirit of the all Sovereign God in love and infinite wisdom, He dispatched the “Death Angel” to Palmetto Richland Hospital on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.   Today we are here to celebrate a life spent serving others.

Andrea Teresa was born the only child on November 2, 1970 in Fairfield Memorial Hospital.  As a young girl, Teresa joined White Oak Baptist Church #1, located in Winnsboro, South Carolina, where she served as Youth Director.  She also worshipped often with Wells of Living Waters Christian Church which is located in Winnsboro.

She graduated as an honor student in the Fairfield Central High School Class of 1989.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Carolina and she later attended Midlands Technical College.  Teresa was employed with Nation’s Bank in Columbia, South Carolina.   Following her employment with Nation’s Bank, she worked for several years with Verizon Wireless.

Teresa touched us all with her spirit of optimism and she never complained.   Even though she was seriously ill, she dedicated her last few years being of service by serving as a member of the Fairfield County School Board.   She was passionate about working with the School Board and the students of Fairfield Central High School.
