George (Sweet) Bell Jr., 69, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC.  Through his many trials and tribulations over the past few months, he never wavered in his faith and never lost his praise.

George was born on June 15, 1945 in Ridgeway, SC to Geneva and the late George Bell Sr.  He joined Mt. He will be deeply missed by his wife of seven years, Rachel Bell; his two sons, Michael Lee and Gregory Edward (Kim) of Columbia, SC; his three daughters, Georgia Mae (Willie) Trapp of Ridgeway, SC, Angela Yvonne (Paul) Craig of Blackstock, SC, and Loretta (Michael) Martin of Mooresville, NC;  ten grandchildren, Quintin Bell, Lakenya Nicole Craig, Tamaria Yvonne Craig, Shanice Bell, Dankeisha Randolph, Taylor Randolph, El SherylCherrie  Bell, Michael Bell Jr., Porshae Bell, and Corvice Bell;  five great-grandchildren, Quintin Bell, Jr., Quinaya Bell, Davior Brown, Kelvin Bell and Mila Bell; his mother, Geneva Bell; six sisters, Martha Marshal, Mary Hancock, Novice Little, Lucille (Talmon) Wilson, Nora (Ronald Sr.) Rhodes and Shirley Goodwin;  three brothers, Sammie Sr. (Bennie), Willie James (Rutha Lee) and John Henry Sr. (Patricia); two brothers-in-law, Ernest Walker Sr. and Elijah Butler; four sisters-in-law, Jessie Mae Bell, Blanch (George) Davis, Bernice Tucker and Inetta (Monzell) Simpson;  six step-children and a host of step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and close family and friends.
