It is with heart felt sympathy that the Management and Support Team of Nelson's Funeral Home, LLC announce the death of Mr. Marvin Young, 44 of Winnsboro, South Carolina.  

Mr.  Young departed his earthly life Saturday, September 3, 2016.  

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September, 8, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Fairfield Community Cemetery, Winnsboro, South Carolina.

Public viewing of Mr. Young's body will be Wednesday, September 7, 2016, 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Marvin DeJon Young was the beloved, youngest son of Mrs. Elnora Palmer Young and the late Mr. Joseph Young, Sr.  He was born on January 3, 1972 in Winnsboro, SC and he fell asleep in death on Saturday, September 3, 2016.

Marvin graduated from Fairfield Central High School in the Class of 1990.  He remained close to many of his classmates, including Ms. Tonya Brown and her family.

As an energetic young man, he started his own business, Westside Wheels and Detailing.  He enjoyed being friends with his many customers and making them happy and he also liked fashionable clothes and listening to music.

His family was near and dear to him and he endeavored to stay in touch, often saying “I’m just a phone call away.”

He leaves to cherish fond memories his mother, Mrs. Elnora Young; two brothers, Mr. Joseph “Chip” (Bessie) Young of Lexington, SC and Mr. Brigham Carlton “B.C. (Wendy) Young of Columbia, SC.  Marvin’s memory will always be engraved in the hearts of his three children, Miss DeVon Young, Miss DeShondra Young, and Mr. Jalen Young, all of Winnsboro, SC.  He is also survived by three uncles, Mr. Charles Young, Mr. Greg Young and Mr. Amos Palmer one aunt, Mrs. Angie Young of Winnsboro, SC; four nieces, one nephew, three great-nieces and one great-nephew; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
