Mary Lou Thomas

The Management and Support Staff of Nelson's Funeral Home of Ridgeway, SC sadly announce the death of Ms. Mary Lou Thomas, 68 of 104 Palmetto Avenue Winnsboro.  

Mary Lou Coates Thomas became one of God's angels on Monday, April 27, 2015.  Mary, daughter of the late James Weldon and Doris Yates Coates. Mary was born in Norfolk, Virginia on September 3, 1946.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ricky Thomas, and her identical twin sister, Jean Coates McMinis.   

Special thanks are extended to Mary's Nazarene Church family and for her caregivers at Pruitt Health Ridgeway, South Carolina.  

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 6:30 pm at Winnsboro Church of the Nazarene.   A dessert and coffee reception will follow in the Family Life Center.

In lieu of flowers, Mary had requested that memorials be made to Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene, 650 Ninth Street, Winnsboro SC 29180.
