Carrie E. Jackson

The Management and Support Staff of Nelson's Funeral Home  sorrowfully announce the death of  Ms. Carrie E. Jackson, 92, of 1568 Mood Harrison Road (State Road S-20-650) Ridgeway, South Carolina. 

Ms. Jackson departed her life Monday, March 2, 2015, at  Fairfield Nursing Home Ridgeway, South Carolina.   Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at Nelson's Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, 2092 Longtown Road, Ridgeway, SC.

Ms. Carrie Etta Jackson was born January 12, 1923 in Ridgeway, South Carolina.  She was the daughter of the late James and Moriah Davis Jackson.  She was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 2, 2015, at the Fairfield Nursing Home in Ridgeway, South Carolina.

Carrie joined Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church at an early age.  Early in her adult life, she moved to New Jersey and resided there for over 60 years.  In 2005, Carrie relocated back to Ridgeway, South Carolina.  She loved talking on the phone with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are one sister, Rosa Lee Boulware of Ridgeway, South Carolina; three special nieces, Oneida (Sammy) Allen of Columbia, South Carolina, Jessie Smith and Jackie Johnson of Charlotte, North Carolina; and a host of nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends.
