The Management and Support Team of Nelson's Funeral announce the death of Ms. Donna Slyce, 54, of Ridgeway. 

Donna Jean Slyce died in Ridgeway, South Carolina on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at the age of 54 after an extended battle with cancer. 

Donna is survived by her father, Lloyd O. Slyce; two sisters, Wanda J.S. (Danny) Lindler of Chapin, South Carolina and Bonnie L. (Kyle) Slyce of Hilo, Hawaii; and nephew Kyle J. (Leslie) Lindler of Lexington, South Carolina. She is preceded in death by her mother Doris H. Slyce. 

Donna was born on September 5, 1961 in Columbia, South Carolina. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Erskine College with a degree in English. Donna participated in bird counts for the National Audubon Society. She was owner of Eeh-O-Lay Farms where she raised free range chickens. She was retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of SC.
