To the Family of Mother Bernice Murphy, as the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I pray that the many happy memories of Mother Bernice's life with all of you will, with time, overcome the sadness and pain. Mother Bernice was a joy and she did a lot in the community. She worked tirelessly in her yard and flower bed. I will particularly remember her allowing me to work with her last summer in her yard digging up wild grass. Something I didn't bargain for but was rewarded for just being in her company. She was a blessing to me and I will miss meeting her at the fruit and vegetable man's truck weekly. I will truly miss looking out of my workplace window/door and seeing her in the yard or sitting on the front porch. To the family of Mother Bernice please be assured that my prayers are with you during this time.

Our prayers and thoughts are with the family, especially my sister-in-law Rosina Simmons. We met Mrs. Bernice through Rosina and found her to be a sweet, loving, and God fearing woman. She will be deeply missed. Home at last! Home at last!
