There are few things more difficult than dealing with the loss of a loved one.

It is with profound  sorrow that the Management and Support Staff of Nelson's Funeral Home, LLC of Ridgeway announce the death of Mr. Nelson Walter Sims, 97, of Winnsboro, South Carolina.  

Mr.  Sims departed his life peacefully at his residence Thursday, April 20, 2017. 

Funeral services for Mr. Sims will be held Monday, April 24, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at Wayman Chapel Church, 400 S. Garden Street, Winnsboro, SC.  Interment will follow in Ross Cemetery (The Middle Six Community, Winnsboro, SC.

Public viewing will be held Sunday April 23, 2017,  2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, with masonic rites being performed at 6:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to Wayman Chapel Church in the name of Nelson Walter Sims.
